FCD Prevention Educator

FCD Educational Services, the leading international nonprofit provider of school-based substance abuse prevention services, is seeking individuals with quality, long-term recovery from alcohol and/or other drug addictions who care deeply about helping children make healthy, responsible choices.

FCD prevention educators work at public and private schools across the United States and around the world. The centerpiece of FCD's work with students is the intensive classroom education program. Variations of this program and other FCD workshops are presented to students in elementary, middle, and high school, as well as to parents, teachers, school administrators, and health care professionals.

Our educators, who must be alcohol, tobacco, and other drug free, work 15-30 weeks a year. Extensive travel is required. Prior education and experience are not as important as a love of kids, a passion for teaching, and excellent communication and presentation skills.
